Heyyyy Gurl, Heyyyyy!
Let me just say that this project was a bit challenging and I was about to cancel tuesdays live video because the shoes weren’t coming out like I had planned. I believe I was second guessing myself and after I slight melt down because you know your gurl is dramatic. lol, I pulled it together.
Here is what you’ll need:
Large Cord: Shop here
Smaller cord: shop here
Heels: Shop here
hot glue gun
Grrr, I just realized that I didn’t think about taking pics per step so that I can properly explain how to achieve this look. (mental note: I will start doing that)
Back to my ghetto instructions, lol.
Step 1: The first thing you want to do is measure the cord going across the front strap. Once you’ve measured where you would like to place the bungee cord, glue it down.
Step 2: Keep cutting and filling in the front of the shoe until you no longer see the strap.
Step 3: Cut the smaller bungee cords at the ends and glue them down on your straps. I used four different colors. Place three of the colors in the middle and then place the following colors on the ends by creating an “n.”
Step 4: Cut a small piece of the larger size cord and attach it to your shoe by gluing the ends together to form a loop.
Step 5: Take the remaining strap and attached it to the shoe by gluing down the cord and strap together.
Step 6: Repeat the same steps to complete the other shoe.
I know that my makeshift instructions might be a little hard without pictures, so check out my live video for a visual on how I recreated this look.
Until next week 🙂
