This winter was all about the teddy material. This material came in different styles such as jackets, purses, hats and more. I fell in love with this material and was dying to add it to my collection because yall know that I am a fan of Texture.
I decided to style the teddy jacket that I picked up at my local Rainbow in different ways to showcase how many different looks that you can create by having one functional piece.
The first way was simple, a pair of ripped jeans from my online store paired with a camisole and my favorite faux fur heels from lily’s shoes. The fanny pack is optional but a cute belt will make this outfit pop. When in doubt a nice pair of jeans and heels will give your outerwear piece an extra touch.
This look reminds me of the ’90s to early ‘2000s when Britney Spears was the hottest artist around. Lately, I have been a fan of mini skirts and thigh-high boots.*The rest of my boots are packed up in Jacksonville so I have to serve in these until….*
I would say that my favorite functional piece in my wardrobe is my outerwear pieces. Outerwear is the extra layer that takes an outfit from BLAH to HEYYYYY GIRL HEY! This trick works for men and women.
Spring is all about Bermuda shorts and leather. I added a pair of faux leather Bermuda shorts to add more texture to my look and because I am extra my bling sneakers from Lily’s shoes were the perfect touch.
